Introduction: Comprehensive two-day course offering First Aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR Level C) skills for those who need training due to work requirements or who want more knowledge to respond to emergencies at home. The course meets legislation requirements for provincial/territorial worker safety and insurance boards and includes the latest First Aid and CPR guidelines. Course Duration: 2 Days with 16 hours in total instruction time Prerequisites: None Certification Validity: 3 Year Certification in Standard First Aid and CPR Level C, which includes AED certification. Course Content: The EMS system Check, Call, Care Airway emergencies Breathing and Circulation emergencies First aid for respiratory and cardiac arrest Wound care Head, neck and spinal injuries Bone, muscle and joint injuries Sudden Medical Emergencies Environmental Illnesses Poisons
Cancellation Policy
The booking date can not be rescheduled two days (2) before your booked date. Please also be advised that cancellations after 48 hours of sign-up are subject to a deduction of $20 administration fee. Please Call at least 24 hours before the scheduled class. Additionally, note that all locations and dates are subject to change. In the event that there are not enough participants registered for your preferred location or date, the class may be relocated or rescheduled. Such changes will be communicated 3 days before the class, at the latest. You are at liberty to choose from available options or request a refund.
